Lebensworte
Worte können eine erstaunliche Wirkung haben – zum Guten und zum Schlechten. Manche wirken ein ganzes Leben lang. Wer erinnert sich nicht an Worte aus der Kindheit, die einen bleibenden Eindruck hinterließen, unser Selbstvertrauen aufbauten oder schmälerten.
Auch unser Gott versorgt uns mit Worten, die etwas mit uns machen: Sie sagen uns seine Liebe zu oder befreien uns. Sie weisen uns in die richtige Richtung und ermutigen uns. Wir nennen sie Lebensworte.
Lebensworte dringen in unser Herz ein und lassen etwas entstehen, das für uns und andere gut ist. Denn Lebensworte sind fruchtbar. Freude wird geboren und dann geteilt. Mut wächst und lässt uns die richtigen Dinge tun. Hoffnung gedeiht und wird zur Zuversicht.
Im Jahr 2025 wollen wir uns als Bethelgemeinde mit den Lebensworten Gottes beschäftigen. Die Lebensworte Gottes finden wir in der Bibel. Daher werden wir uns viel mit der Bibel beschäftigen. Andererseits werden wir auch bestimmten Bibeltexten rund um das Wort Gottes auf den Grund gehen. Denn in ihr finden wir das Leben.
Words of life
Words can have an amazing effect - for better or for worse. Some have a lifelong effect. Who doesn't remember words from childhood that leave a lasting impression, build or diminish our self-confidence.
Our God also provides us with words that do something to us: they assure us of his love or set us free. They point us in the right direction and encourage us. We call them words of life.
Words of life get into our hearts and create something that is good for us and others. Because words of life are fruitful. Joy is born and then shared. Courage grows and allows us to do the right things. Hope flourishes and becomes confidence.
In 2025, we as the Bethel congregation want to focus on God's words of life. We find God's words of life in the Bible. That is why we will spend a lot of time studying the Bible. On the other hand, we will also get to the bottom of certain Bible texts relating to the Word of God. Because in it we find life.
